In recent years, faith communities around the world have joined efforts to prayerfully bring awareness to the climate crisis.  September 1 - October 4 is being celebrated as the Season of Creation.  This year’s theme is Living Water based on Ezekiel 47: 9,12.  Here water flows from the temple bringing new life and healing to the earth.  St. Paul’s will honor this season during our Sunday worship and at our Wednesday contemplative services.  On September 13 we will worship at Eagle Lake Park and use the liturgy, Creation in Christ, which centers on the creation story.  It will be wonderful to have Genesis proclaimed in the park!  I hope we can find more creative ways to contemplate the gift of God’s creation and make meaningful commitments to “tend and keep” the gift God has given.
